THE DALERDYK PASSING UNDER THE SAN FRANCISCO-OAKLAND BAY BRIDGE

Per the N.A.S.M. News of June, 1949:
(The Dalerdyk, listed as 10,820 gross tons) QUEEN of the almost completely rehabilitated North Pacific Coast service of the Holland-America Line, she posed gracefully under Bay span which links San Francisco with mainland, April 11, on her first voyagefrom Europe. Ship was hailed everywhere.
